Consultants provide work products that are actionable without creating dependency on the consultant for follow-on work. There are no change orders to the original consulting agreement.
They empower the client with specialized knowledge, ideas, or techniques that will benefit the client in operational or strategic activities; then leave.
Consultants build work products that enhance communication through formal techniques that add processes to complement existing organizational methods; work that can enhance
communication, eliminate tensions, and misunderstandings among stakeholders. The chain of command and the hierarchy of the organization are respected.
Recommendations are data supported and prioritized by value and benefits. The work product are
innovative, are customized to the organization and represent original work based on knowledge, due diligence, and expertise. Problems are identified, and solutions are recommended/developed collaboratively with the company.
Consultants’ fees are discussed up front with the client.
Consultants are hired to complete specific tasks and consider the environment in which they are working and balance their project against the organization’s other jobs.
There is transparency, openness, and honesty during all communications from the consultants to the company.

* Pre-Launch Phase: If you have already have some information together and need some help refining your business model, business plan, devising your Go-To-Market Strategy or other advice. I can consult!
* Start-Up Phase: If you have already launched your business and are looking to develop systems/structures/processes to ensure the business and employees are working towards goal attainment and achieving the strategic vision, I can help. I can create dashboards to capture how your organization is progressing using the Balanced Scorecard approach to set out SMART goals and appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). We can also review your two and five year plan.
* Growth/Change Phase: If you are looking to take your business to the next level, diversify your offering, enter new markets, new market research, risk assessments and new business plans, or re-structure; I can assist with as well.
* Learning: If you prefer a coaching/mentoring relationship so you can navigate these processes with guidance to build on your business skills for the future, or just require the support to move forward from wherever you are - I can coach you.
